Troubleshooting

Does App Support and Joining a Group require internet functions?

Yes.

What do the settings under "Only change these settings if instructed by support" do?

Note: We strongly recommend that you should change these settings or use these options if instructed by support. However, if you do choose to use them, here is a description of what they do.

MyBSF Viewer: WebBrowser/Allow Downloads (Default)

This allows MyBSF to function the same way it does in a web browser. This is the default setting.

MyBSF Viewer: WebView/View Only

This allows you to view or listen to lectures and view notes or other PDF files. Note this will make all download links in MyBSF not fuction on Android devices.

Content Viewer

This is an experimental function and you should see no visible changes in the app. The default is "Native"

Remove Downloaded Files

The BSF app stores your lessons and In-App bibles in a "Downloaded Cache". By removing these files the app will automatically re-download them from our BSF support service.

Check for Question Updates

Occassionally BSF publishes updates to lessons and translations.  For example some lesson languages are not complete until closer to the time when the lesson is used in class. The BSF app checks for lesson updates daily automatically, but choosing this option will manually check for updates.

Answer Transfer Tool

Export all your lesson answers in the Answer Transfer Format to make a backup or move answers to another BSF app.

You can also import previously exported answers from the Answer Transfer Tool. This will overwrite answers on this BSF app.
